Kensington 18th Century Shoes offer comfort, style, and practicality all in one. Constructed of 100% top-quality leather, with real Italian leather soles, Kensington is the perfect shoe for Revolutionary War reenactors and features all the hallmarks of a historically accurate late Georgian shoe - hand-stretched pointed toe, custom-made Louis heels, and latchet closure ready to take our reproduction Valois, Fleur or Dauphine rhinestone buckles.
We don't believe you should have to sacrifice style when portraying middle-class townswomen or camp followers! Our rich, oxblood red Kensingtons will complement your eye-catching ensemble perfectly.
Kensington is historically accurate for the 1760s through 1790s, perfect for the American Revolution.

I'm a bit disappointed because the left shoe arrived with silver pen marks on the black leather. Fortunately, it will be hidden by the buckle and the closure. Since I'm from Europe, I don't want to return the pair, which actually fits me well.
Oh that certainly shouldn't have happened, but luckily those can be removed very quickly! It's a disappearing pen that's used to mark the leather for cutting, and will go away if you aim a hair dryer at it for a few moments. We'll reach out via email too to make sure we get this resolved for you!

I cannot say nothing but perfect as always If I could I would own every single shoe from American duchess, they are beautiful and comfortable.
Like the shoe but very small in size.. I wish I had orded a half size lager.I got a broad front on my foot.

If the shoe is tight around the widest portion of your foot, then the leather on the Kensington will stretch well in the area to give you a little more room. Please let us know if you have questions regarding stretching, as stretched shoes are unreturnable.
These ladies were just so wonderfull I had to buy a second pair right after receiving my first pair. Very comfortable and looks amazing.
